My folks broke down with their Ford Escort on the way back form Pretoria to cut a long story short they got the car towed to Action Ford in Constantia.After the diagnosing the problem they said it was just a Oil pressure switch that needed to be replaced.Then they were informed it is a Radiator as well and the list started to add up the bill finally got to over R7000 and guess what the car was not fixed yet.They called my folks and now said you need a new engine I mean what the ***** after charging them over R7000 now you say replace the motor why did they not diagnose it properly in the first place so I made the call and went down there and got car towed to a private mechanic who overhauled the Motor for less than R5000 and guess what the car is running.To top it all Action Ford removed the Gear lock which is R700 and when my folks phone to ask where it is no one is coming back.They did some work on the dash board and it looks like it has been stabbed to death the dash board plus they left some loose part's in and the fan does not stop running.They do not feedback to the customer at all and I reckon they are a bunch of weed-eater mechanics um let me downgrade that to wheel barrow.
