Terrible customer service! They auctioned my stuff!

I rented a small storage to hold my belongings while I moved to another state. I didnt even want it for a whole month, just temporary. This was four months ago! I finally got a response by the district manager the night prior to auction, informing me I needed to pay 215$ by next day at 10am. I only racked up fees by waiting for a response by a staff member to arrange a time I could move out of unit. I left messages I called. I sent emails. I even drove to Oklahoma two separate weekends to hopefully catch them during hours. Nope I still never made contact.I paid my rent monthly I called weekly I lost my stuff!!! User's recommendation: DO NOT TRUST YOUR BELONGINGS WITH PUBLIC STORAGE.
