I have to take a brand name medication for a serious medical condition. Because my doctor sent an order for the brand name med, with all documentation of why I must have this med because I appealed their quick decision to NOT cover. Express Scripts told me that they would NOT cover this med and told me I received a "PENALTY" for requesting a brand name medication. A PENALTY. What is that!? That is NOT a pharmacy that takes patients with individual needs into consideration for coverage. Express Scripts also PENALIZED me because I take a medication in both instant release and extended release. THEY made the decision to cover only ONE of those doctor ordered medications. User's recommendation: Do not trust this pharmacy service. They do not do what's right for the patient.
