I was completing a purchase at the location in Woodbury Commons Shopping Center when the cashier asked me if I wanted to join the Banana Republic Program. He was insisting on having me sign for it and as a reward he was offering me a discount. He never mentioned that I was applying for a credit card. I ended up getting a credit line and with a hard inquiry on my credit report which immediately lowered my score. I spoke with the manager Leslie and she was actually taking the side of the cashier. I never wanted a credit line. I will report this to the authorities. This will not end here
