Lousy, Gypsie Outfit
1
Me and my old lady went to B&P in Newington, NH, and were greeted by overly zealous sales persons, reminescent of a car dealer. We wanted a double-bed sized mattress, that's all. The lady said we absolutely must buy additional accessories- no choice- "Must buy". She said that our total would be close to $1000.00, before we even told her what we were looking for. When we said out spend limit was $500.00, she said she'd try to "put something together for that "low" price". I noticed a mattress with a pricetag of $149.00, and said we'd like to buy that one. she said "I won't sell you that", I said "Why not, it's for sale?" She said the reasons were "many and complicated"- but the reasons are really: Money, Greed and Ripoff!" I said if you won't sell us something that you have right here, for sale, with a pricetag on it- then we're leaving. She responded: "I wish you would". On the way out we were chased by more "sales staff" who kept yelling at us to come back and consider buying something. Bernie & Phyls is a crumby, Gypsie outfit, that ain't worth the paper it's printed on. I do not recommend anybody to do business at B&P.
