One year old lawnmower won’t run because of oil in the air filter

Went to use lawnmower for the first time this year, bought it in May 2020. It would not start. There is oil in the air filter. Very limited repair options available in the metropolitan town of Phoenix Arizona. The only two repair facilities I found were one in Tucson, and one in Taylor Arizona. Population 4,000! User's recommendation: Buy a different brand.
