There is a problem with LED backlight strips in TCL 55 smart ROKU TV. It is well documented online, my favorite being a technical guy who found my exact tv in a dumpster. The fix was installing new backlight strips a highly technical procedure to be done by a technician. TCL has to be aware of the problem by virtue of the number of consumer reports. TCLs online customer support person told me she was sorry for my inconvenience however : Electronic components sometimes fail after use. and Just like any other products TCL TV is no exception to this issue. User's recommendation: Avoid this company, they don’t care, and support is as above lol!
