Tried contacting DDG about changing my safari search engine to supposedly seeking privacy and non-tracking search engines to serve their mercenary money grabbing global corporations; Google, Facebook, AT&T, Apple, Comcast, Disney...and many others....but I'm starting to question their agenda if they are owned by Reddit, or whoever.....the search box becomes a duplicate search box that then takes your search request....but there is still the same tracking companies including "Twitter, Instagram, our liar in chief...Donald Trump...who right now, as quiet as its kept, is literally converting twitter into a racist platform and verbal weapon delivery vehicle to deliver, especially lately where he is doing the genuine American citizens like myself,...terrible injustices and spurring hate crimes,...not to mention the diversionary tactics to divert attention away from the fact that Elijah Cummings demanding emails from Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, who happens to be a "slum lord" in Baltimore, as quiet as Trump tries to hide these things as he is crucifying great African Americans....DuckDuckGo, from my limited knowledge about high tech Internet/media processes, seem to be based on billions of dollars, and none of these entities including whoever owns/controls DDG, all seem to have one common denominator, money.....and this smoke and mirrors facade to fool or trick the general and gullible American public....keep in mind "King Trump" can legally "shut down Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc.....by just declaring a national immergency and getting "Moscow Mitch" McConnell head of the Senate to block anything that King Trump doesn't like....I question whether or not DuckDuckGo is actually sincere and actually gives a damn about privacy....quick analogy.....Comcast is one of the worst money grabbers in the world...and they control and own NBC News.....I personally experienced how they came into my area, purchased all the high speed coaxial cable rights from Time-Warner and within 1 year, immediately raised all their cable prices and...after being rated the worst customer service record for years,....finally changed their name to Xfinity....and still gets away with a monopoly of high speed internet...,and AT&T are not even allowed in my area in Sugar Land, Tx., I may give up on DDG simply because this is another modern version of insincere 'pontificating' privacy rights for common American citizens, but it's really all about money, billions of dollars....there would be no Facebook for example, if personal privacy was even an issue, it's about money....Facebook is fined billions of dollars...but Zuckerburg's General profit margin this year is $100,000,000....ask yourself, do you really think this is about privacy protection?
