State Farm makes it difficult to recover homeowner property losses.

1

On October 21, 2020, I made a claim for a roof leak in my garage and left side of my home. State Farm sent out an adjustor who said it was plumbing. I repaired the plumbing (?) but roof leak persisted. In March, my ceiling bulged and water dripped into our gameroom, same side as the earlier leak. I filed a claim and was told since it was associated with the left side of the house I would have to appeal the October Decision. Meanwhile my home's roof leaks into rooms continue. Two estimates from roof repair contractors, and both said the State Farm is making it difficult during COVID-19 to recover losses. User's recommendation: Do NOT buy homeowner's insurance from State Farm. Car accidents are difficult to recover losses via State Farm as well.
