Failure to live up to written agreements.

1

For the past two weeks LG consumer complaints and support have told me their support computers are not operating. It's been over 3 weeks since they promised to replace a lint dryer filter that somehow melted to a sharp point that damaged three items of clothing. I was told that there was no need to show any proof of purchase and that item has shown to be problematic from a number of people, so there would be no charge for service call no charge for parts or labor. 2 weeks later after trying to live up to that agreement they tell me they've revoked what they agreed to. User's recommendation: Make sure you have a service provider that can service whatever period of time you have under warranty or extended warranty and definitely get extended warranty. Do not take the word of anybody without having it put in writing prior to buying any LG product.
