Broken customer service regarding gift card

I ordered a Boots gift card via a link on boots.com last Christmas. It didn't turn up. I contacted boots, then the people who actually issued the card and heard nothing. After months and months I finally managed to get a reply but no confirmation of the refund. It's over 6 months since I ordered it! Awful! Boots have been very unhelpful. User's recommendation: Don't buy Boots gift cards EVER!
