I was in a Academy store today in Texas, and trying to purchase a firearm. Before going I called The ATF over purchasing a firearm because all the Texas drivers license offices are closed due to the Covid-19 Virus. ATF says you can still purchase guns if you pass the background check. Well my drivers license expired on 5/21/20 and with no way to renew it due to all the Texas drivers license offices closed. I was told I could not purchase a firearm until I get my drivers license updated. How the *** can you when the DPS offices are closed. And I have bought many firearms from Academy in the pass
