I loved this hair dryer and was willing to take a chance when my first one stopped working after a few months. Maybe it was my fault- hit the counter too hard etc........ However the second one I purchased also is giving me problems. It shuts down in the middle of drying my hair and, at times, will not turn on at all. (It is not my outlet since I have a travel hair dryer that I pull out when my Conair doesnt work and I always use the same outlet.) I'm not sure why this hair dryer is so unpredictable but I know I am not buying a third one. wwill not be purchasing a thrid one. User's recommendation: Think twice.
