When I purchased a Cheetah II, 37 HP Vanguard, 61" velocity deck I told sales person that parts of my lawn were steep. He said with weight and low center of gravity of Cheetah II I shouldn't have a problem, well I DO! This mower will not stay on my slopes, I've tried three times to mow my lawn and it gets more scary each time I use it. I've since measured the slope of difficult areas, they range from 19 degrees to 24 degrees. I've since discovered that Scag recommends 15 degrees maximum. Salesperson should have told me this.
