Missing parts, back ordered

I bought my daughter two of the cimmeron toilets, paid for a plumber to install and many parts in tank were missing. I am very upset that these parts are on back order and paid money for a plumber to come out and not able to finish job. Called Koehler to find out parts on back order. Not a great house warming gift. I would like to be compensated for that toliet. User's recommendation: Open box and check parts.
