Until today I was a happy Ryobi owner I have 42 cordless tools an entire wall covered But today my reciprocating saw burnt up literally black smoke it got hot in my hand I had to throw it to keep from being burnt Today Im pissed Believe it or not this exact same thing happened 3 days ago Saturday with my circular saw I thought it was a fluke when it happened and didnt think too much of it since Ive never had any issues before the tools are 4 years old and used very little I contacted their TERRIBLE customer service and they actually said sir the warranty is for 3 years you should buy new ones after when the warranty expires WHAT???? didnt care that they burnt up just that the warranty was out So Ryobi solution is own for 3 yrs then throw away and buy all new RYOBI YOU CAN SHOVE IT UP YOUR *** I am no longer a Ryobi customer User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY RYOBI they do not stand behind their products.
