Attended state finals this year. Daughter qualified for California All American. The experience was good for my daughter. Made new friends. NAM is for money. Why would they charge $35 for a t-shirt that costs $7 to make, saying you have to bye one. Should been given free. Got packet on California and says we have to bye $210 dress for their dance number and that at discount but dress had to be ordered by September 9 and we did not get packet until afternoon of the 9th. Now we have to pay $240. After paying all these fees for state most girls got a $2.00 trophy. Shame on pageant. The girl who won most likely to succeed in modeling was chunky, not attractive in anyway, big teeth. Sorry but there was so may pretty girls on stage. Did any of the judges know her, sure seems like it. Need to relook at how judges are selected. Like I said, my daughter qualified for All American finales, just felt bad for those that got a $2.00 trophy
