I turned my heat on for the first time this morning and my house immediately filled with gas ... lots of gas. I turned it off and went to work and called them. I live by myself and they could not give me ANY window when they could get there ... they would not give me any call ahead to get home. They were going out and if they could not get in the house they were going to turn the gas off to the house. IF I were to go home and wait all day for them, they would come out and if there's no gas leak but the pilot light was off, they would NOT turn the pilot light on. THEY DO NOT DO THIS. I would then have to get a contractor to come turn my pilot light on. This is a Friday afternoon. NOW the best part ... IF they turn the gas off, and THEN I get home and call them, they will come BACK OUT and turn the gas back on at which point they will HAVE to turn the PILOT LIGHT on to get the appliance to work. SO ... if I let them come out and turn my gas off, then have them come BACK out and turn it back on, I will get the pilot light lit. 2 visits instead of 1. THIS is why we pay these *** so much money. Truly laughable.
