I’m not pissed! My only criticisms…

First, I stayed in 2 Sleep Inns recently ( Middlesboro, KY & Winchester, VA). Both were clean & comfortable (the beds were really good). Staff were very friendly & helpful. My only issues are the no pets policy (many people travel with pets these days) & the “green” policies. While I applaud any attempt to lessen the carbon footprint, I don’t think only providing fresh towels every 3 days is the way to go! I think a much greater impact would come from doing away with single-use plastic like shampoo, conditioner & lotion in plastic bottles (3 per room), plastic & foam cups in each room (6 of each in my room, each wrapped in even more plastic) & disposable plates & flatware at breakfast. That said, I will definitely consider staying at any Sleep Inn, as long as I am not traveling with my dog. I do hope to see a change in the no pets policy & greener steps taken. Thanks for reading this.
