Problem with my reservation

I reserved a vehicle on May 3, 2021 for a vacation in San Diego. I was given the rental offer for $ 386.17 (ConfirmationTVS1132****). When I arrived on San Diego on Thursday July 22,2021, I was told that you company had made a mistake and overbooked reservation and there were no cars available. Your company didnt even try to contact me in advance so that i could perhaps make other arrangements. I was then forced to frantically search for another company who could assist me with a rental car. After hours of searching I was able to get a rental , however I had to pay MUCH more than I intended. I was forced to pay $862.66, thats $476.49 more than what your company promised. I am requesting that your company reimburse me for my troubles because your company was 100 % at fault. So , PLEASE, contact me and PLEASE make this right. Thank you..
