I wish I had known about these HE Maytag washer before I bought this piece of junk. It may conserve water, but the time it takes to wash; over 1.5 hour; makes up for any savings you may have from water conservation. There are no savings here. Your power bill is much higher. I cannot afford the power bill for a washing machine that takes two hours to wash a load of clothes. I am not on government assistance no free housing; no food stamps. The government needs to step in and recall these washing machines. It is only costing the consumer. User's recommendation: I do not advise buying this washing machine,
