I need to know how to use credit code

An event I had tickets for last year got cancelled and I got a "store credit". But when i enter the code when trying to buy other tickets it says it is invalid. It is impossible to talk to anyone directly on the phone and their "live chat" via text is definitely not live. The automated system asks me what the order # is for my problem, i input it and I'm just told the show was cancelled before the communication cuts off. User's recommendation: Just dont go through tickets center.
