Trying to understand why

3

reps could not or would not explain why something happens. They said a couple of late payments affected the decrease in score. Late payments were in 2017. Why does it take over 3 years to effect the score. Your credit scores from trans union was really good two days again. The 29 points that dropped happen after a account was paid in full and another paid down. My question was how can that reduction happens in one day from over 3 years ago. User's recommendation: Don’t call trans union. There answers are the same for everyone not each case.
