A Run-a-round Waste of time

Beware. HORRIBLY managed and ineffective customer service: a run around and time waster. Bought shoes at outlet store. The Manager found me the "last pair." Got home (1 hour away) and shoes were USED, dirty and worn. Told by outlet store to return them to Macy's (in my town). "WE DON'T SELL THESE SHOES," said the Macy's online supervisor. Outlet manage then told me to go to "Finish Line Store." Return "exchange" processed but required special order. Told shoes would be delivered in 3-4 days. Online tracking showed the same. No shoes delivered. Back to the store (2nd visit). Told the "store that has your shoes "didn't ship my shoes because they didn't have any boxes in the store." Promised $20 discount and email to confirm. No discount or email ever sent. 3 trips to the store and 3 calls to customer service (including one "hang up" when I asked to speak to a supervisor), they could provide a deliver date. Now after hours of run-around by phone and at the mall, the still only offer a "$20 discount" and no assurance when the shoes will arrive. I will NEVER shop at Finish Line again, even though these s are one of the ONLY shoes that my wife can wear because of foot problems. I was going to try them next. Too bad you don't know how to treat customers, as I politely discussed with you on the phone Fred- F.E.S. from Indianapolis call center.
