We are in the process of cancelling our card with Synchrony Bank due to multiple cases of fraud. The security of this bank is very incredibly low, so much so, that someone was able to call up and report our card lost and have a new one sent to them. When we found out, we immediately called and was told that we had to physically mail proof of our current address in order to prove who we were. That was the last straw. We acquired this card through Sams Club, which we plan to cancel our membership just because they use this bank. If you have a card through Synchrony, my advice, check all the information daily for fraud. User's recommendation: I would not recommend Synchrony credit cards due to their lack of security.
