I purchased new furniture for my new house I was moving in to. I received the funds easily from Synchrony with no issues whatsoever when my credit was checked. I was signed up with auto pay and therefore never missed a payment for a year. All of a sudden, I'm getting a letter that they are closing my accounts because their random credit check showed I wasn't an acceptable consumer any longer. My credit had only dropped about 20 points since the time I made the purchase. Because of this, my credit report now show my debt to income ratio is well over 100% because they closed my accounts for no reason with balances still left on the accounts. Synchrony is a total scam and rip off and I will NEVER purchase from a store that uses Synchrony Bank EVER again! User's recommendation: DO NOT EVER APPY TO SYNCHRONY BANK.
