Bad service and unreachable customer service

Im a gold plus member of Hertz and rented a car for 30 days. Picked it up in Manhattan and drove to Long Island. By the time I arrived I had a low pressure warning on tire. After being put on hold for an hour at a time and multiple calls and 800 numbers finally reached someone. I wish I hadnt. Apparently checking out a car with a damaged tyre is the customers fault. I had 2 options: call breakdown service and pay $90+ to have tyre changed with the spare and then drive to a rental facility (50 miles away) to have it repaired or drive 100 miles to where I rented the car with the hope of a replacement. No they couldnt guarantee a replacement car. User's recommendation: Stay away from Hertz.
