My new coffee maker is not working.

I recieved it last week. The first time I opened it, I washed everything, soaked the filter. I added water to the reservoir. It kept saying add water even when it's full. Also the lid to the reservoir does not shut all the way down. I took the reservoir out and looked where it drained. I put my finger in there then water started pouring out. Everything was fine till this morning...a week later. I was making a single pod. The machine was making weird noises like someone *** loudly then no water would come out. So I tried the carafe...no noise but it took all the water in the reservoir when it was only supposed to be. I will be returning this. Do better. It's not like I have a $100 to waste. I'm on disability. 6 cups
