Washing machine delivered scratched

Update by user May 19, 2021 There has not been any resolution. They stated that it wasn't their problem (how could it not be the delivery company's problem?) and that I should contact my home warranty provider as they were the ones who paid for the replacement washing machine this company was delivering. Original review posted by user Apr 19, 2021 I had a new washing machine delivered on Saturday. The door looked scratched, but the delivery man assured me it was the plastic covering the put on items to protect them during shipping issues. I went to pull the plastic off after they left, only to discover that the gouges on the door were indeed in the door, not in the non-existent covering. User's recommendation: Do not trust the delivery driver. He had to have known they put the scratches in the appliance.
