Shutting off charging feature

1

Original review updated by user Apr 22, 2021 An older phone that stopped charging battery. $50 for a new battery, that wasn't it. I bought a lightly used one, it won't charge either. Verizon shut down that charging feature to force me into a new phone and 2 year plan extension. I will not renew the plan anymore. They had been sending email for free phones. This last email was for a phone that was no longer available, it also had horrific reviews. The other one was not available at a store to look at...So the clerks said, none on display. Local stores are near worthless. THEN.... An hour after this was posted and sent to Verizon, both phones are charging. What Verizon did was probobly criminal. Will the FBI investigate? Probably not. Weasels = Verizon. User's recommendation: AT&T was bad too.
