Lid stopped working

I purchased a DZT-80-35 trash can in November 2019. The lid stopped working and I file a claim in March 2021; clearly still under warranty. Customer Service responded to my email and said lid was out of stock. It's been 4 months and I still do not have a lid. Every time I contact them, I get the same answer: out of stock. User's recommendation: Proceed with caution. I am still hopefully they will honor their warranty.
