To start I turned on the gas with them and was able to pay in cash at a local retailer. No problem there with them taking my money. At the last moment the property management company withdrew or application and refunded us our money back. So I called Vectren to inform them I needed the service turned back off and needed to get a refund for the deposit I put down. Since I paid in cash 8 was told they would mail me a check so I provided them with a good forwarding address to send my money to. Not to mention since it was a Friday this was done on they wouldn't be able to make any changes to the new account until the following Monday. It has since been 2 weeks later and no check. Just waiting it out and one day I'm sure I'll finally get the check. User's recommendation: Avoid them like the plague if you can.
