Complaint regarding service

After waiting for 4 hours for technician to arrive I called and was told my receiver had not been approved. I should have been contacted. No one explained that an approval was necessary before installation. I have waited for 2 days which means I have to be home. Customers should be informed when the appt. is being made that it must be approved before the technician comes out and the technician will call as soon as it is approved so the customer does not have to wait during that time. This would be proper customer service. User's recommendation: Make sure everything is approved before the technician comes out.
