I had posted an ad on usedregina.com to sell a bass guitar. I received an email from [protected]@gmail.com indicating they used paypal to send me the cost of the bass guitar I was asking ($3200) plus an additional $450 for shipping (total $3650). They then wanted me to forward $450 of this money via Western Union to another entity they called the "shipping company" and when I did so, this shipping company would contact me with instructions on how to send the bass. I also received fake "paypal" emails from [protected]@gmail.com indicating money was deposited to my paypal account. However, when I logged into my paypal account, there was nothing deposited.
