Update by user Sep 19, 2019 ambitenergy.com Original review posted by user Sep 19, 2019 Changed my plan in June - was told it would fluctuate based on market rates 14-8.6 KWH even got an email showing it as an example - see attached ...Never had a bill over $350 since 2010 and June and July 2019 bills on the new plan were in the $200's in August 2019 $926... I get 26 cents per KWH because I am on a plan that fluctuates. I was told if I used over 2000 KWH I would pay 8.4KWH....Called today and rep says they can charge any rate up to even $2 per KWH on this plan.... and only willing to give a 10% discount ...I finally escalated and got 20% but that is nothing..... Been a customer for 9 years and this is what I get ????? Whatever you do don't trust them ...All they wanted to do was a payment plan ---- forget that! Also threatened me with a early erm fee of $190 ...how funny is that ...a drop in the bucket for what my bill is .....If they would have dne the right thing , had integrity I would stay but they did nothing but explain that they cant help what I got in an email (see attached) that rates have changed.
