Who Actually Owned My Mortgage

I’m interested in knowing more about this class action lawsuit. PennyMac auctioned my home in 2018 without informing me. All correspondence was sent to the home of a “lawyer” I used 6 years ago who initiated an auction back then by signing an agreement (without my consent) with the lawyer for PennyMac to auction my home at that time. I dismissed him and retained a second lawyer and had to file for bankruptcy. However, the first lawyer apparently maintained a relationship with PennyMac’s law firm and all correspondence was sent to him in 2018 and not my current lawyer. The strange thing is that PennyMac sold my mortgage to Fay Servicing in July of 2017 around the time they were fined in regards to their forced place homeowners insurance practice. Wells Fargo was my original mortgage lender and they filed an affidavit in 2013 that my promissory note was lost or destroyed (I never signed one). They sold the note to PennyMac for $1. PennyMac then sold to another bank (Wilmington Delaware Bank?) in 2017 but still auctioned my home in 2018. Something doesn’t seem straight about this.
