On a recent trip to Iceland I booked a tour through Isango! For a Whale watching and Golden Circle tour. On the day of the tour, we waited for our bus pickup, in the freezing cold and snow for over almost an hour, before calling to be told the whale watching tour had to be cancelled. They advised they had sent an e-mail to advise but no such e-mail was received. The tour was cancelled due to bad weather, which we accepted and they offered to book for another day. We took their offer up and booked for the following morning, the day we were returning to the UK. That morning came and we received e-mail confirmation that due to the weather the tour had to be cancelled again. Since then we've been in e-mail contact several times trying to obtain a refund for the tour that was never provided, only to be greeted with excuses as to why they are yet unable to return the funds. These excuses range from miscommunication with the tour provider, glitches and dicreosncues, along with waiting on confirmation of the refund amount due. We have been waiting almost 4 months for this refund and still no resilution, the customer service we've received has been atrocious!!!
