Horrible experience with one of the hotel options in Virgin's Paris Hotels self guided. The Orchard Paddington Hotel located at 86-90 Sussex Gardens, London, United Kingdom is the absolute worst 2 star hotel I have ever been to... Horrible, unacceptable customer service and accommodations received when we arrived at the Orchard hotel in Paddington. Unprepared clerk, smelly luggage area (night manager sleeps in there with bare feet on couch). Very dusty room with old, worn out and stained mattresses. Could not even provide a fan with the sweltering heat inside the room. No Air Conditioning. No Water, No Fridge in the room. No way of opening the window. No service at the front. My daughter was denied a glass of drinking water, none available in the hotel. Virgin Vacations, through 2 slow acting agents, took to long (on purpose imho) to get back and consequently was not able to dispute the charge with my credit card company. My mistake for not being proactive. I will never make the mistake again of using them for my vacations.
