I'm a representative for a bank and I was suppose to organize a group lunch with my clients. I've read good things about Virgilio's Pizzeria and some scam report (from ripoffreport.com), but I still decide to try it due to its good reputation. And THAT was the WORST decision I've ever made. We went in and no one greeted us at all. We do not know what to do. The cashier rudely tell us whether are we eating here or are we hobos trying to beg for food. I was shocked by the cashier's rude behavior. But as it was raining, I have no choice. So I just laugh it off as a joke and said we were here to eat. We saw an empty table so we took our sit. Plates were not cleared; the table was horribly dirty; the chair were stained with pizza sauce and that dirtied my client's blazer. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizzas. Waited for like 30 freaking minutes. The pizza arrived and it was tepidly warm.. as if it was left out for some time and served us late. My clients gave a frown look, but I try distracting them with something else. When we taste the pizza, it was HORRIBLE. The pineapples taste real bad as if it's rotten. The cheese has a hint of sour flavor. I have to use a napkin to spit it out! I lost my patience and demanded to see the chef... I think he's Virgilio. Instead, the staff told me to deal with it if not I can take my lunch somewhere else. Totally pissed, I ask for the bill. Guess what? They charge me nearly $200+ for a few rotten horrible pizzas. I argued and the staff rudely told me that I should have asked for the price before ordering in future. And the cashier jumped in and start making hobo jokes at me and my clients again. Saying that I'm a hobo in blazer, .etc. WTF! I swiped my credit card and walked off. Before I even exit this cursed restaurant, one of the staff shouted at me and ask me for bloody tips. I walked off and the staff shouted, "freaking hobos, don't come back again." WTF. TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID THIS *** PLACE AT ALL COST!
