Used to be Good – Now they’re Cashing In their Customers

I've had my websites hosted by Bluehost for the past 10 years. In the past few months, after they partnered with a company called SiteLock, all of a sudden my sites are being infected with malware. When it happened the first time I took the main site down. Interestingly, it has happened three more times!!! On a site that is off line and not accessible!!!! I feel there is some sort of scam going on between Bluehost and SiteLock. it follows the exact same pattern every time: 1. I receive an email from Bluehost/SiteLock saying my site is infected with malware. 2. I call Bluehost; they say they're not aware of any problem. They scan my website for "malware" and find some, but they say "the full scan will take a long time, so you'll have to call back later." 3. I get an email from Bluehost saying ALL my websites have been shut down because there's "malware" on them. 4. I call Bluehost back, delete the files that supposedly have malware in them. 5. Bluehost re-scans my sites and the malware is gone, so they bring my sites back up again. Frankly this reeks of a phishing scam. SiteLock's initial email is an attempt to sell services. I suspect Bluehost or SiteLock or both are responsible for infecting my sites. I don't understand how it could be anyone else as my main site is offline and not accessible to anyone else.
