Update by user Jan 13, 2019 ASUS contacted me to tell me that they are sorry they allowed the mistake to happen and to assure me that actions would be taken to prevent this from happening again.They did NOT offer any compensation for the added expenses they caused; or even, any kind of coupon towards a in house product.All I received is a garantee that they would not make the same mistake; but the truth is, their warranty department dropped the ball so bad that I don't trust ASUS, they have proven that the ASUS warranty is garbage, and they can promise what ever they desire... They have not shown me any more credibility than the fake warranty; no remorsement, nothing but meaningless promisses.If ASUS can't stand behind their warranty; then it is pointless to buy flagship products from them; I might as well buy refurbs. Original review posted by user Dec 14, 2018 Bought a TUF series motherboard(5yr warranty). Very expensive MB, engineered very well; but: Stopped reading 2 of mem banks; nomatter the order or combination of mem sticks. Small issues began to arise, all MB related. I called Asus service, and they put me through an over-the-phone examination; much if which I already did. After this failed, they issued a RMA. Some time later, The RMA process informed me: there was nothing wrong with my hardware, everything checked out find including the problems in which I gave much greater detail, and only action performed was a BIOS upgrade. After rebuilding my system, I experienced the same MB problems. Believing the Asus No-Repair service was qualified in stating the problems did not lie with my MB; I begun to change other hardware; but of course, this did not help. It wasn't until I found I was missing BIOS options that others had; that I found the root of my probs... After much studies, experimenting, and fear of undergoing a process that would void my own warranty, and a few costly components, I had found I had a bad BIOS flash, in which simple BIOS upgrades would not fix. Long story short,I fixed it myself; and realized the No-Service department had not fully tested my MB, or even the details in which I had given them; If they had, It would have saved me a cpl hundred and many headaches.
