“THE EGG AND I”, and a few other people!

Here were are, ordering what seemed to possibly turn out to be a nice fullfilling breakfast. One of our members ordered the vegetarian eggs benedict. They brought our food and my other party member asked to return hers due to the eggs being overcooked - that is to say completely cooked all the way through the yolk. There was no runny yellow at all. According to any basic cooking site worth it's salt, no pun intended, poached eggs are used in eggs benedict. poached is cooking eggs in boiling water, which stays exactly at one temperature and allows timeing to be timed to always the same to get the same results - which is an egg with a runny yellow yolk. Now this waitress came over with an attitude that if my aunt wanted her poached eggs on her benedict to have a runny yolk she should have specified it. please note - the manager at first came a few times to the table acting officious and stuffy asking how things are. Well not when this happened - they were no where to be seen. And NOW THE KICKER - so - when they brought her another order (she asked just for 2 new poached eggs) but oh no they insisted she get another complete order. THEY PROCEEDED to bring her another huge plate of eggs benedict, slammed it down on the table in front of her, with 2 GIANT SLABS OF HAM - glued right in to the middle - which, mind you, is how a regular order would have appeared. HELLOOOO - SHE WAS A VEGETARIAN...
