Terrible. Multiple errors on my account

My grandfather passed away in April and I was trying to surrender the policy. I didn’t even know he had a policy out on me until he passed. My aunt sent the death certificate in and I kept checking in with them for about two months only to find out they misfiled the information. I called one time after work and spoke to a human that verified my info and transferred me somewhere else. I was on hold for over an hour. I tried emailing the company and it took a week just to get a response. I reached out via social media and they had a manager reach out to me. She was kind and apologetic and advised me that I received misinformation and the items would be fixed. When I finally got my surrender check they messed up my last name (it was hyphenated). The damn social media rep said they had it right. I sent screenshots of the paperwork I submitted with the right name and they didn’t apologize but would have the quality assurance manager follow up again. She advised me that they would FedEx my check. Again, my name is messed up on it and my bank rejected it. It has been almost four months since my grandfather passed and I am still waiting on my money. They also kept calling me during my work hours and I always missed the quality assurance rep’s call. I asked at least 3 times to reach me at a certain time and they disregarded the requests Maybe if the quality assurance rep and her team didn’t *** up so many times I wouldn’t be contacting them constantly about this issue. I told them that I should sue for emotional distress for the stress and anxiety they caused me and they blocked me on Twitter. They also blocked me on Facebook after I shared my frustrations with them. They need to take responsibility for their actions and stop blocking people that need help. I tried to be nice and patient Since I worked in customer service previously but what they did to me is unforgivable. My aunt and uncle also had trouble with them as well so I don’t know why the *** my grandfather used this company. Stay very far away. All I wanted is a check to pay for expenses my grandpa was taking care of for me so I can catch up on some overdue bills. I seriously hope they go out of business.
