Terrible customer service in claims dept.

I am pissed for sure. One of my pet peeves is terrible customer service. This is how the phone was answered when I called, no greeting and no warmth, but just flat out rudeness. I understand you don't remember who you talk to, but at my job, we answer the phones, with "yes, can I help you and listen. We address the need not make it bigger by fighting with the customer. If you don't like people, then find another line of work. I am the customer. Why should I feel like I have to meet your needs. I guess my money means nothing to the National General because they have to pay a claim. Isn't that what I am paying for, and if you keep me, you will make more times over. Customer service makes the difference. You can work anything out. Too bad.
