Dewalt String trimmer is not compatible with dewalt edger. All the other brands I have looked at are universal especially with theyre own products. I was hung up on the first time and the second time I was told they would not give me any type of incentive or discount for the new trimmer. I have been a loyal dewalt tool customer for many years. I am now looking into different brands and am done with dewalt. User's recommendation: Buy other brsnds.
