Stock # 2248. Great steel toe boot that I bought only for the winter months that I figured should last for 20 years. The boot was purchased in 08 and weld started to split 3 years ago. I took it to the redwing store and was told that is the way it is. The fixes they did not help. The boot leather still looks brand new and the sole still has the checking the heel is not worn. Very disappointed in the results. Giving second thoughts on a brand that I have worn for the last 35 years. User's recommendation: Expensive boots don’t necessarily equal quality.
