SOLD US THE WRONG MOTOR REFUSES TO LET US RETURN IT
1
We recently contacted amuap.com, AKA ,AM USED AUTO PARTS, AKA, AIM Used Auto Parts, AKA GRIMSTONE, to purchase a used motor for a 2004 Range Rover.. The Sales "Professional" Ask us for the Year Make Model And (VIN) number. He told us he had the motor in stock. The motor he was saying was the correct one was out of a BMW 7 Series.. Which even me, not knowing much about motors at that very moment said THAT DOES NOT SOUND CORRECT! He ASSURED me it was the correct motor, and it MATCHED MY VIN NUMBER, so we went ahead and ordered it. Well when it came to the body shop, sure enough it was the wrong motor... We contacted AM Used Auto Parts at that time and they offered no support, said that it was OUR FAULT even though they are the supposedly "Engine Professionals" that told us what to order.... Then he said we could pay to ship it back and be charged 20% restocking and then pay another 2500.00 and he would send the correct one. So now all the sudden the "Professional" knew the correct engine. I feel like this was intentional on their part to scam us out of $2000.00 and to this day they will not help us to send it back for a refund. They have basically stolen our money! And now we are with out a vehicle to drive because of their "Professional" advice. Buyers need to be aware that these people can not be trusted! Even the Auto Shop that was going to put the engine in said that we were scammed ! They sent a car motor for a suv!?! BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! This Company Has Left My Family $2000.00 In Debt And With Out A Vehicle ! Principal: Ms. Alexandria "Alex" Ayres, Managing Member Mr. Bryan Johnson Mr. Alan Mckena, Sales Rep Mr. Joseph Miller
