Sold a plan direct and was not informed on waiting period

I was sold a dental plan by BCBS dental of florida for a BCBS sales rep, only to find that there was a 6 month wait period for cover? I was never informed by the BCBS sales person on this proviso? I found out when I went to the dentist and was told by the Dentist! A total lack of full disclosure. I was compleatly hodwinked and feel cheated. I did call BCBS and was transferred 5 times and having to reitterate the same story each time, no notes kept on a PC:-( before the last person (Ray) hung up on me, great customer service!! My last call (#6) was just the same and told to expect a call back. I was also told that there was a 90 day lapse period in place and I was on exactly 90 days from when my previous policy terminated, so not sure why I am not covered? Customer service personel nice enough (apart from Ray) and say all the right things (Scripted) but make nothing happen! Major concern and frustration is you cannot get to speak with anyone in Authority no matter how hard you try! If you look on their website there are no email address' to lodge complaints so the phone system is the only way, so hence the blog! So buyer beware!!! Not a good company to deal with.
