Smart meter indicates power consumption during power outage! Is there no better proof that the smart meter is wrong?

If you have been affected by the outage, please check your smart meter data for the outage time on 1/29/18. Mine indicates that I have consumed power - even though there was no power available! How is that possible? In general I had the suspect that the meter indicates...
