As a professional painter used this product for 1st time at home... New something was not right as soon as 1st coat on ... totally patchy finish over fresco style paper... It took 3 coats to get a acceptable finish... However it remained sticky and somewhat patchy for next six months !!!! Also a very strange thing started happening almost immediately .. We have had a cat's in family for 30 years plus and hardly ever has the cats scratched the wall... Almost immediately she started scratching the walls ... In the end I have replaced the paint with my standard use paint from Johnsons... ! cat and totally dry in 2 hours.... AND NO SCRATCHING....I can only come to the conclusion apart from the fact the Valspar is totally rubbish... there must be something in the paint that attracts cats ...!!!! KEEP WELL AWAY
